oh, my goodness! I think I have one of her brothers! He doesn't interfere too much, either, but will from time to time have to be watched - - the needle fascinates him, so I have to sew with a hand on him. Not all of the time, but sometimes <g> I am including a picture, because you have got to see how much like yours he looks! <wave>

how cute! i was never a cat lover till we got our "allie" but she is my baby! one question for all you with cats - our allie does not like to be held at all!!! but she wants to be near us. she will walk up and let us pet her but forget picking her up! a friend told me she had a tabby that was the same way - just wondering is this a common personality trait with tabbies?

I have a tabby (my Lizzie) that hates to be held, but she always stays close to me -- especially when I'm in my sewing room.

Peanut is a tabby? It could be a common breed trait, but I always thought our kitty was like that because he was really the offspring of a feral cat. He can be a real jerk, but he really could care less about cuddling, being held or petted more than a few strokes at a time. I am not really a cat person, either, but he was given to me during a weak moment and I can't say "no" to them baby type things <wave>
