From the Shout Color Catcher site:

http://www.shoutitout.com/preserve-colors.aspx

Note: Effectiveness not guaranteed if large amounts of dye bleed from non-colorfast garments. Use reasonable care when washing whites with colors and when washing new garments for the first time.

There is a product on the market that I use that is the same as the Color Catcher but you can use it up to 30 times. It's called Dye Grabber, by Carbona. I've been using them for years and they work just like the color catchers. They are in the same place at the grocery store too. I wouldn't dare to use the color catcher more than once, but maybe I'm just a big chicken.

I use them up to 20 times, depending on just how much dye they catch.

Check the detergent aisle of Walmart - they are the only place around here that does carry them. Or ask at your local grocery store if they can get them.

I reuse them all the time, over and over until they are a color I want. Then I use them to make things like book covers or fabric bowls....or whatever! Our local grocery store carries them. I would try Walmart though. As far as effectiveness, they seem to work and work and work! Good luck! Marian :)
