So sorry you are sick. I was off sick about 2 weeks ago, just a cold, but felt miserable...hated that I was so empty of energy, that I basically slept all day. I told my DH, I should have gotten some quilting done, but I all I did was sleep. He looked at me and said, "Well, you WERE sick ya know!"

Be kind to yourself. If you have no energy, then your body is telling you in no uncertain terms that it needs to rest in order to repair itself. So, rest, drink plenty of fluids, dream of future quilting projects and don't forget the chicken soup. ;-)

concentrate on getting better. When were sick it is as if our mind is in a daze. Or I feel that way. Somethings take time. AND it doesn't hurt to see the Dr. again when were really sick. pneumonia can lead into walking pneumonia. Sleep & rest is healty :)( ((hugs))

Listen to your body and only do what it allows you to do. Hope you feel better soon.

Hasn't anyone told you that pneumonia is serious? You must give your body time to heal. Stop sewing and anything that is mentally and physically demanding to let your body heal itself. It takes me about a month to get thru a session of this illness so give into it and you will fly when well..

I think that is the bug I had in October, I was awfully sick for 2 weeks. Had 3 trips to the doc and finally feeling good 6 weeks later. Drink lots of liquids and get lots of rest and get some sunlight even if you have sit by the window.

Don't push, give yourself some time. The flu strains out right now really knock you on your behind. Wishing you a speedier recovery in 2011.
