Used to have 2 sergers so when I needed to do a simple 3-thread serge I'd go to that machine as its so difficult to thread or at least it was for me. Reason why I got the 2nd serger, a Babylock air threader. Got rid of the 1st serger last year as I just wasn't using it much so why keep it? Anyway, I just tie whatever color thread I need to change to, pull it thru except for the needle and it makes it so much easier for me now. I do the same on my quilting machine, just tie the new thread to the end and pull it thru till it reaches the needle.

For me, the one tedious part of laundry is putting everything away where it goes, once it's folded.

I could spend all day sewing quilt blocks but I absolutely hate repairing clothes or hemming pants. I'll put it off until I have no other choice. My husband and daughter are both 5' 3" and usually need a few inches off their pant legs.

One of my "put off" chores is unloading the dishwasher. Have no idea why; it's easy, the dishes are clean. And yet I hate doing it. I also hate vacuuming, but perhaps that's more reasonable, lol. (I don't mind sweeping, so I think it's the noise of the vacuum I dislike).

when I finish a project I usually have another in mind to start so I change the thread and bobbin to whatever my next project needs and adjust the tension if necessary with a sample swatch...that way I can start right in with my new project without frustration..i hate when I sit down to sew a new project and have to spend 30 minutes to an hour to get the machine threaded and bobbin filled and adjust tension...lol

I keep gray thread in my serger, which sounds like a good idea on a serger, but mine has the “Air threader” and needle threader, but my old one was a pain that involved tweezers, forceps, and lots of bad words, and I think I got stuck in the “I don’t wanna” mind set. Silly huh?
