See what you can do when you get started. Great job finding that missing floor.

Can you put all of her "stuff" in large plastic totes for the time being so you can get to your stuff in the room? And do "just put"...don't worry about organizing, tossing or anything. Straight into the tote it goes. She's not worried about her things so why should you be? I say move them out of your way.
I couldn't have said it any better....my thoughts exactly.

You are a wonderful daughter and I commend you for helping Mom.

In fact, you inspired me to sort through several personal papers this afternoon while watching a baseball game. I've filled up one brown paper sack for recycling, filled one wastebasket for shredding and ended up saving only one three ring notebook of financial papers.

Now, the trick is to keep going with some progress each week. Thanks again for sharing. You've done a world of good for me :) :) :)

Wow, big improvement!
My son left a lot of stuff in one of my closets, guns under the bed, and stuff in chest of drawers. Says his house is too full. I know your mom is happy with her laundry room.

Isn't it wonderful when you see floor !!!

Keep up the good work, just think how accomplished you'll feel when done.

Good luck!
I so agree! Forgive yourself for leaving all that junk in your Mother's way and be so proud of all the hard work you have already done to give your Mom her house back. You go girl!
