Your sister must have moved to South Texas or near the coast, if she is complaining about humidity. We definitely don't have any where I live. We started out having up to 114 weather in May this year, so when it gets that hot that early we know we are in for a very HOT summer. We've been having 70+ around 6.A.M so we know it is going to be a hot day. e have had some cool days lately not over 105. But we are waiting for the really hot days to come.

Come on up to Winnipeg Manitoba! Right now it is 19 C (67 F) and raining. It is going up to 23 C (73 F) today. It has been around 28 (82) most days for the past few weeks and will be like that again later this week. Lovely weather!

Suffering here in Maine as well. My cure, other then the fans and 2 ac's running, is hanging out around the frozen food dept. at the local grocery store. It's so cold in the store it actually feels nice to be "warm" when you step out of the door. Minutes later the heat attacks though and I'm hoping for some rain.

Not me!!! I never complain in the winter as I know I can't stand the heat. At least in winter I can pile on more stuff to stay warm and I actually like sub-zero temps, just so long as it isn't windy too. To me, there is perhaps nothing more peaceful in the world than walking through a forest in a snowfall. Everything is so quiet and it is calming seeing those big fat fluffy snowflakes gently drifting down. My dogs are much happier in the winter too. No biting insects are out in winter. I enjoy warm weather but I love winter.

Sorry to all your northerners for having to suffer from the heat; now ya'll have an idea of how we Texans feel all the time from about May (this year) through September. It's been stifling here too. And very little rain if and when we do get some but then we pay for it with insufferable humidity; sometimes close to 100 percent. Can't even catch your breath when you go out. So needless to say we stay in most of the time; I feel for the construction workers. Very early morning is THE only time to be out.
