when we had a summer house in cape may, they had a lima bean festival.
ever see earrings with hanging lima beans? in metuchen we have oktoberfest, but everyone has that, don't they?

almost forgot: in saugerties, upstate new york, they have a garlic festival. you can follow your nose to that one.

In our area we have a lilac festival, Canal Fest (celebrates the Erie Canal), Eden Corn Festival, a tomato festival, and a chicken wing festival.

A little tiny town called Hamburg, Michigan has kohlrabi festival. They have a "small" patch outside of town!

We have a garlic festival, the same thing, but they even have garlic ice cream. I have never tried the ice cream, and probleley never will. God bless.

LOL, I grew up in Bay City and remember them well. Especially all of the Catholic Church festivals (St. Stans, St. James, St, Hyacinths) Brings back good memories!

In Western Mich we have a Blueberry Festival, Goose Festival in the Fall, Cherry Festival in Traverse City, Coast Guard Festival in Grand Haven.....Wine Festival in Kzoo.
