Default crocheted chickens

Last week, I decided to tackle these that have been on my bucket list for a while. I tried it from the picture I saw, but failed to get it right. I googled and found some free instructions... a much better result now LOL. The top one is the trial using acrylic yarn... not good for a pot holder. The bottom four are from cotton yarn. They are a bit thin for pot holders in my estimation. Will be trying more with a double strand of cotton yarn.

Those are totally cute! Could two be sewn together to get the thickness needed? Double the work, so it depends on whether you want to use them or have them be decorative. They sure are cute!

Very cute! Can you put 2 of them together with grey felt in between to make them thick enough?
