Gigi07 has a great idea! If you let us know what kind of fabric it was, maybe between all of us, we have exactly what you need in our stash!

Thank God you are alright!!!!! Hopefully somehow the fabric is recovered. It could have been worse, you could have been knocked to the ground and left bleeding. My brother had that happen. He was loading groceries in his van and some guy surprised him. He got hit in the face with a gun, and it left him bleeding. Took the groceries and his wallet. He had passed out from the pain. He is o.k. now. HUGS to you!!!!!

I am so sorry for you. I guess I believe anything can happen these days. Thank God she just grabbed the bag and not harm you.

I read a [supposedly-true] e-mail about a lady whose old cat had passed away so she wrapped him in his favorite blanket and set the wrapped 'bundle' in a large shopping bag saved from an upscale dept. store. She picked up her sister, at the shopping center, on her way to take her cat's remains to the vet for cremation so she could save his ashes on her fireplace mantle....

When she carefully took the bag out of the backseat and set it on the ground for a moment so she could put her sister's shopping in the backseat, the bag was snatched by a fast-running young woman.
She and her sister watched in horror as the thief raced away with the bag and locked herself in a car. She was so eager to see what she'd 'scored', she didn't even drive away before eagerly delving into the fancy shopping bag. The thief shrieked and jettisoned the fancy shopping bag and its contents out the window and sped away!

Hope that cured her of stealing!
