Default Current responses to "old posts"

Found almost a dozen of those this morning.....I have to start looking more carefully at the original post date.

It has also confused me lately, although I don't mind seeing the old pictures!

Sometimes the topic just catches the readers' attention.

I always scroll to bottom of main page and click 'archive". Then I see the posts as they come in.

No need to be the curmudgeon hallway monitors. People can read and respond to any post.

ha, ha. no body is a curmudgeon. we just wondered how it happens. some sort of searching or what ever. just saw several in pictures. makes a boring read unless someone posts something really new to the subject.

Sometimes there's not a lot of new activity and we end up in the older posts. Once one person responds, others follow and old threads are revived. It might help if the date of the post was shown on the first page, not just when you open it.
