We have had Direct TV for about twenty year, no technical problems that needed to call them, once in a while in a storm, the signals would get fowled up, but it eventually corrects itself. My complain about them is their price keep going up without warning. The first time I called them they said it was included with the February bill. I have been very careful to check every bill. This month it went up another $4.00; and I have not seen anything included in any of the past bills about it. My husband watches all of those channels, I am happy with just the local channels on my own TV.
Seems like everyone else is happy with them.

We switched over a year ago and love it! So much better then the two cable companies we had over the last 20 yrs. Hardly ever any interruptions in service. Once we got a real heavy wet snow that stuck to the dish and my husband just reached up and swept it off and reception was good again.

We have had directv for 4years. Very few problems and those were because the tv was going out. Replaced that. I can watch Eleanor Burns on RFDT(I call it the farm channel)every Wed. All those movies are great. However the same movie is shown much to often. Sometimes the title of the movie is changed but it is still the same movie shown several months ago. Directv is also generous, called with a complaint and for 6 mos I am having my bill reduced by $5.00. May not seem like much, but on a limited income, it helps. Glad I have Directv.

we have had direct tv for a very long time..it replace dish network which replaced the big satelite dish which replaced the outdoor/and the indoor antenna with tin foil. we have been very happy with direct tv although their costs have gone up over the years. the choices of packages are better then their competitors. the only time we lose our service is when there is a bad rain coming down or sun spots (which happen to them all). take a look at their program packages and make your decision based on that. by the way, their customer service is great...i have been able to get my cost lowered twice and they have replaced ecquipment for me when needed for only the shipping costs. one word of caution though..dont let anyone put a dish on rooftop...this will eventually cause you roof problems and leaks as well as making your dish prone to wind damage...

Have had Direct TV for approximately 8 years and am very satisfied. Should problems appear, all you have to do is call them and you will be given answer to resolving your problem They are also very patient talking to someone like me who does not understand the electronic world very well.
