I get solicitation calls all the time on my phone. When I try to call the number back that shows on my screen, I get, "this number has been disconnected or is no longer in service". So they aren't even using a number I can trace to report them. But I do go to my provider's (Verizon) website, access my own account and block the numbers they have called me from. It then takes them a few more days to find me again..
I am getting up to ten to fifteen calls a day on my cell from these solicitors. I may change my cell number but I have had it for 13+ years and it is my only home phone number. oh well.. change is good they say!

Of course they did!

If the number comes up "Unavailable", then I am also unavailable, and I pick up and then immediately hang up - to stop the ringing and the v-mail. Same thing with unknown. My funniest was a number that was all 0's. 000-000-0000. yeah, right!

I'm the one who owes YOU an apology. I mistakenly addressed my post to you when I meant to answer June6995's post. I was just trying to give her some info so she could find out just how the Do Not Call list works. I hope she and anyone else who may be interested found my post helpful.

Again, my apologies. It sounds like you are handling unwanted calls just fine.
No problem! As long as we can all do what we can to avoid as many of those calls, that's the mission!!!
