Don't do Halloween, but have a large assortment of pumpkins that I will put out today and keep up til Christmas decorations. I have more fun decorating for Fall than Christmas probably because I love the colors!

I don't decorate. I used to and I have a ton of stuff to do it with -- just inside stuff.

No. Sometimes I decorate for fall....scarecrow, mums, pumpkins...sometimes I don't. I have done no decorating this fall and probably will not. I will decorate for Xmas on Thanksgiving evening...and, this year, I will not decorate as much as in the past. Too much work...dh does not care one way or the other, if we decorate and the kids are all off in school. We do not have grandkids, yet.

Halloween is right up there with Christmas for decorating for me! Today I am finally getting out my autumn decs - Halloween will be close behind.

Outside I put a collection of pumpkins and mums, one jack'o'lantern for Halloween. Inside I have some jack'o'lanterns, some happy witches, and a couple of scare crows - nothing too scary. That's in addition to the leaves and berries, gourds, etc. Love fall!

Told a friend of mine that since it's the eve of All Saints Day, and all of my saints are happy, that I only have happy souls around on Halloween - no zombies, no monsters.

When we lived in town, we would get upward of 500 trick or treaters in our neighborhood. I would go all out with decorations and treats for the kids. But since moving to our walnut orchard out of town, the only trick or treaters we get are our 2 grandson's who live next door. So the decorations are much simpler......but I still enjoy the holiday.

No I just decorate for Fall. Pumpkins, Indian Corn & gourds. This year I can't due to broken foot. That is fine too. The Church & Schools close by, have a Festival & Fall Carnival for the kids on Halloween, so I am not even going to pass out Candy this year. Bought a ton of it last year & we had 3 Trick or Treaters. :-o DH & I do not need the sugar! When our kids were small I still just did Fall decorations instead of Halloween.

This was the first time in 21 years that I did NOT decorate my classroom at school. I have lots of Halloween quilts and crafts that I've made over the years. Nothing scary, just whimsical. The students would love to check everything out and I would get lots fun watching them.
My last day of work is Oct 7. I am retiring. I've been at the same school for 22 years. I'm the Computer Media Specialist and all students in the school come through my room each week. .

Not in my neighborhood. Pumpkins get stolen and smashed, decorations taken and destroyed (or found at the local flea market). Last year someone shot at the scarecrow on my next door neighbor's front porch. We give out candy and then I'll take my pumpkins back inside. I hate to sound "old" (but I guess I am) but I remember when Halloween was so much fun!!

Don't do Halloween either. Never have with the kids. When we were involved in a Church that had a Harvest Festival we would attend. After they were teens the helped run the one at our church. They now do a "Trunk or Treat" DH will work at that and I sit in the back of the house and sew.
