Yup!! LOL When you have a "shoulder bird", poop happens, and you learn to live with it. Along with holes in your shirts! LOL. I actually got Poppy some of those "poop pants" you can get for birds. It looks like a tiny bathing suit, but has a little padded area in the rear to catch any poops. Well, she hates it so much, I had to stop putting them on her. My friend started calling them "Meany Pants", cause that's how she would act! :hunf: ;)

My bird doesn't usually download on humans, although she did get the cat once when I set her on him (the cat's very much not a hunter. In seven years, the few times I've seen him stalk the bird, it was clear they were playing).

Our big problem is keeping her off stuff we don't want her on, since she does free-range the apartment (seems too mean to keep her in a cage all the time, especially when she's in one of her more social moods).

LOL That is so funny, meany pants. I have never seen them up here anywhere, but I don't think Buddy would let me put them on him anyway. I bought a little birdy leash when I first got him so I could take him outside with me and he fought so hard when I tried to put it on him, that I returned it. Forget it. I just bought him an outside cage instead. I know what you mean poopy shoulders and holes in shirts, and pant legs when you are not paying attention to him...just like a spoiled little kid, but lots of fun anyway.

Beautiful birds everyone!! I love seeing all the pictures.

When we lived in the country and had the 6ft aviary I let the 3 cockatiels fly loose in the house. I didn't realize for along time they were chewing the woodwork above my picture windows!
