Do you have limits on your internet?

Some internet service providers do put a cap on bandwidth. Unfortunately many of them don't tell you this until you are way over on usage.
Living out in the country we don't get any kind of cable/DSL service. We first had unlimited dial-up (cheap but frustrating), then wireless broadband from at&t (expensive and still somewhat frustrating) and we now have high speed wireless from our local electric cooperative. It is great and although it's a little pricey it's well worth it!

Are you sure it's YOU that is over the limit?
We just have our small local wireless service and a few months back they notified us that we were over the limit. With further investigating, it turns out that some of our neighbors were picking up on our wireless free of charge! They gave us a new whatchamacallit (router?) and all is good again.

I would get the make clear lines in the sand...we had limits in AK and boy when you went over, it cost you like crazy...
we did NO movies, videos, you tube, etc....strictly internet bs only!
if schooling comes first then the rest will fall by the way side....or get them laptops and send them to the nearest McDonalds that has free WI-FI
PS. I have suddenlink and we are now paying $55 month!
