I guess we are "crazy". We head NORTH to an even colder, snowier area...from southern most New Hampshire to almost the Canadian border in Maine! You can always add more clothes, but there is a limit to how many clothes we can take off before people go blind looking at us! LOL Gravity is not my best friend.

Since my husband retired five years ago, we have tried to get away to some place warm for a week or so in the winter to break it up a little. It's nice not to have to wear a coat, and just take a deep breath and not fight the weather! This year we went to St. Lucia, to an all-inclusive, which was nice, but since I crisp and burn easily, had to really be conscious of the sun, sunscreen and finding shade. The island was beautiful and the islanders were charming, very genuine. Glad to be home and feel refreshed to face the rest of the winter. I personally couldn't handle so much sun and heat year round.
