I live in colorado and head for Florida. It is great to be in colorado in winter if you ski. We love the ocean and spend lots of time outside

We live in upstate NY and we do head south. We have a great little place in Bradenton, FL and love it. We leave the first part of January and come back around Memorial Day. We've been doing this for 8 years now and wouldn't want to spend another winter up there. We've made so many friends down here and it's like a 2nd home.

We came to Scottsdale, AZ for Jan & Feb. Has been great with the nice weather. Have loved being outside to walk and do our new hobby, Geocaching. I have still sewn a little but not like when I am at home. Plan to come back to Arizona next year.

You can always come to SC....although this winter we've had two snows two weeks apart and two earthquakes...on the other hand, if you don't like THAT weather, stick around for five minutes and it'll change. It was about 70 or so today, supposed to be about 78 tomorrow...

We've had it all (repeatedly) in a few weeks time, snow, heat, fog, rain, beautiful sunshine. Nice thing here is that the cold doesn't usually hang on for more than a few days at a time. Have had more this year than in the past few years.
PM me if you'd like more info about my area of Texas.

We live in NC? We never go anywhere like that. Most of the time NC has a different kinds of weather. One week it will be cold, then it warms up some. This year we had more snow, but even 6-10 inches melts in a couple of days. 65 for the next days. Snow last week.

You could all come visit me in Perth, Western Australia. It's so strange reading about you all being so cold. We are having ANOTHER week of temperatures above what you would say was 100 degrees. It just won't let up. I have only seen snow once in my life (I'm 65) and that was when we visited Tasmania (a State of Australia, right down at the south eastern corner.)
