We still have a drive in movie here in Lakeland called Silver Moon that is still in operation. In 2008 they celebrated 60 years in the business. They show current movies too such as the ones that are in the theaters. If you want to check them out go to www.silvermoondrivein.com

Memories!.... The 1st movie I ever remember seeing at the Drive in was "Billy Jack" , my dad is still a big Billy Jack fan but at the time the 3 of us kids were young and he kept talking about leaving after the rape scene. My how times have changed, that kind of stuff is on prime time TV now. Thanks for the memory flashback!..... We still have 2 Drive in theaters in my area of Western KY. Might have to go this summer.
