My 2 year old granddaughter loves this book. I think reading this and singing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" are part of her bedtime routine.

I owned used bookstores for 15+ years until I got sick three years ago. Goodnight, Moon was always much in demand, purchased by grandparents and parents alike. It was also a comfort book for kids waiting for their adults to make their selections.

I don't know if young mothers are still reading it, but we old grandmas sure are!

I give a selection of books, including "Goodnight Moon" to every relative who is having a baby. The start of good reading habits from "Teacher Aunt Lynnie"

I read the book to the grandkids, and now to the great-grandsons, 4 of them.

I, too, often give this book as a baby gift. It was my daughters favorite bedtime story!! I would love to make this quilt to give along with the book.

My step daughter and husband read that to the baby belly every night while she was pregnant....Now the baby is a year and a half...I don't know if they still read that to her...but I would love to make a quilt with the fabric!

what a wonderful shower/baby gift this would be for someone special. A quilt and copy of the book wrapped together. I would definately buy the fabrics to make one (or 2). Don't have a grandchild yet, but with 2 daughters in their 20's I'm sure I won't have to wait long!
