No, I can't stand the fan on. Don't like it blowing in my face. If it is on I wake up and can't see because it dries out my eyes something terrible.

DH and I fight over it all the time.

I have been married for 36 years. Our first apartment was over the building's furnace room. We had to have every window open even in the winter. We were still hot, so on went the fan and we have had a fan going every night since.
Weird? Maybe but the calming noise of the fan keeps the neighborhood noise at bay.

Yup. On every night year round. It gets to stuffy in our room, husband doesn't like the window open. I get to plugged up if the air isn't moving. Just use more blankets in the winter time.

If you need a fan blowing right in your face it is possible that you have sleep apnea. Don't ask me how I know.

You are right, I had a sleep study done and was put on a c-pap machine, I hated it! I felt like a scuba diver without oxygen Took it back and told them I wanted no part of it. The fan works much better!

I can't sleep without my CPAP machine. If a fan works for you that is fantastic!
