Yep, all the time. Using it as I reply. I'm making a pork roast with potatoes, carrots, etc. Put it on and let it take care of itself. We have custody of an 11 year old granddaughter. Today is our day out, shopping at JoAnn's, Build a Bear, lunch and the movies. Dinner will be done when everyone is home.

Not spoiling our "girls day out" to make dinner!

I use mine all the time. I like to buy groceries when on sale, meat, veggies etc. Since I live alone I make up meals for my freezers. Keeps me healthier, thinner and is so convenient. Have done this for years. My favorite is my stuffed green peppers.

I have not thought about roasting garlic in it OR putting it outside! Thanks. PS.. what do you put in with the garlic?

I thought I was so smart, bought whole chickens for boneing and left one out for dinner in a couple days. Forgot how badly I do at cutting up chickens. Found a recipe for whole chicken in crock pot. Couldn't be easier. Salt and pepper inside and out. Then put in 1/2-1 cup of salad dressing your choice and put it in crock pot for about 8 hrs. on low. All my dressings were out of date so I used pace picante sauce, mild. Didn't measure. Had to add a small amount of water about 3 hrs into the project. Turned out very nice, falling off bone, flavorful, but not overpowering. I didn't have to cut the chiken apart Yipee!! More time for quilting.
