I have been collecting quilt pins for years. I have pins from every year that I belong to my quilt guild.

One year I made a minature quilt and I then made a shadow box with the quilt as the backing. I pinned all my quilt pins on the quilt and hung it up in my sewing room.

I was quite please with it. I shared it with my quilt guild and showed them how to make one of their own.

Ohh, now I'll have to start looking for these. Not seen any before, but I really like your idea of the shadow box.

I never heard of them either. How cute! I would imagine that the pins are displayed like/similar to Disney pins? So thick padded foam usually black, that the pins are pushed into... maybe like a shadow box?

You would make a quilted vest or jacket and pin them on the vest. Wear that vest to quilt shows to display your badges of honor, just like the scouts. Some wear hats and pin them on the hats. It is up to you. The pins tells you where you have been (quilt shows).

I have a very large collection of pins. I got them from quilt shows and quilt guilds. I put them on a chatelene (spelling) and I also have some on a hat that i wore on a quilt cruise.

I have a few. Maybe it's simplistic, but I wear them one at a time.

Our guild has a quilt show every year and we have pins to commemorate the show. They are available for sale to anyone who attends the show. I bet you could make a cute little wall handing to display them.

I have been collecting pins for quite some time. I have made little quilts and they are pinned on them and hanging on the wall on little hangers in the sewing room

I collect pins. Don't have to be quilt pins, but they are my favourites. I have a chatelaine (everyone in our guild made one) to wear at meeting & shows, and I pin them all there. Some guilds have their own pins, and I collect them at various quilt shows, and have done pin exchanges online.
PM me if you would like to exchange pins. Our guilds logo is a fan.
