We have 2 poodles. When I go into my sewing studio, the larger (16 lbs) Café au lait color immediately plants herself in front of the front door to guard from the UPS drivers. The smaller (7 lbs) black color come to the door of my sewing studio and whines. We have hardwood in there and she doesn't like to slip, so she won't come into the room to be picked up. NOTE: Last summer we put hardwood throughout, but she hasn't figured that out, yet. So she sits on the hardwood in the hall, but won't come into the hardwood in the studio. Go figure. Then I pick her up and she lays on a quilt on either my sewing table or my cutting table, depending on where I am. Are they spoiled? NO. LOL. They are company, though and we love those furbabies.

My Hunter would do the same thing. I once saw a T-shirt that said "My day consists of let the dog out, let the dog in". So true.

not just Goldens...Chihuahua's are nags. Tink doesn't bark much...so she thinks that if she just stares at you with her bug eyes that you will see that she needs to go out. If I'm involved with what I'm working on, I don't look over at her...so then she will start to bounce her front legs off my leg....poke, poke...heyMom...I want your attention.

Sometimes I will purposely ignore the pokes just to hear her complain....she actually grumbles. lol

Yes, Goldens are just dolls. I've had 2 & they were just the sweetest things ever (shhhh... don't let Leo hear -- he'll think I'm "cheating" on him... LOL!).

And does he do what Leo does? Leo wants out but when you open the door, what he really wants to do is just stare... kind of like when my DS was a teen-ager & would do that with the 'frigerator door open! I tell Leo "Either buy something or quit looking"!

We were working on refinishing living room floor - that blob is her bunny toy. It's hard to be mad at that face
Oooh... see? They give you the "cute face" & you can't stay mad! She's darling!
