Me too! 22 on top, 16-18 on the bottom. What a Pain in the butt. But the swim skirt totally rules. You gotta try it.
LOL, too funny, I am the opposite. 12-14 on top and 18 W on the bottom 5'6+ 207lb. Talk about some big honking hips and saddle bags. I can only wear Catherines Just Right Fit Jeans. I still have a small waist, which really makes me look funny.

When I am doing water aerobics, our instuctor is always saying lets work on those curves. I got more curves than I care to work on. I don't want no more stinking curves, just want to firm up whats there.

I can't believe I sharing this on the board.

We have a hot tub & I use it almost daily year round so I go through suits. However, Catherine's, Land's End have been where I've gotten the most comfortable, long lasting suits. I am a 20/22. I like a one piece strapless. If I were going to my DS"s pool, I throw on a pr of shorts over it if I am not in the water or I have a skirt cover up thingy.

We have earned the right to wear a bathing suit regardless of our size. So as a woman, get that suit & enjoy the beach!

Bathing suits rank right up there next to a bathroom scale. Both should be outlawed if you weigh more than 125 lbs.
Hm, what do you suggest: Skinny-dipping (or as it would be in my case: Chunky-dunkin)? muuhaha

There is no easy way for any woman to buy a swimsuit. It is painful to all of us.

I like Carol Wior suits. My girlfriend wears them for years and she actually SWIMS in them! They suck you in and come in modest styles.

Of course, I can't wear them. I'm a flatsy patsy and they seem to expect something in that area. Nothing looks worse than a collapsed swim suit bra!

I usually buy a speedo. They wear like iron and have so much spandex they make me look like I might have a shape somewhere. I have a shape and its round but these do help some. Thanks goodness they come in larger sizes too or I couldn't get one.

As I am in Aus, can't really recommend anywhere...but when you do get your swimsuit organised, buy or make a sarong...very stylish, you can tie them several ways and if you get a little shy walking down to the water or around the pool they are ideal. Coupled with a pair of fashionable sunglasses and a cool straw hat you will look quite glam....like a filmstar taking a break from a busy schedule....Come on ladies, it's the confidence factor that makes you look good....not just the body!

I personally believe the gypsy cousins have jimmied all the mirrors in my house...especially the full length mirror in my bathroom!
No way that's my body...looks kind of like my head, but the hair has been changed too. Somebody's idea of a trick...not funny!
Those are not my hips and thighs, and if I could see it...I would say that's not my butt either!
What cruel little meeces i am related to!
That's it...they are not allowed in my bathroom any more.
Next time they drop by...they can go behind the big tree out back!
Forget a swimsuit...I'm off to buy a new mirror! :hunf:

You know, it's amazing. Every one of us is a different shape and size, and yet we all dislike what we see in the mirror. There obviously isn't some universal figure that is bad, or good for that matter. Why don't men have to agonize this much?!
