Anyone else affected by losing the hour tonight? I will be miserable until October now. For some reason, my body really misses that hour. Maybe I'm just strange, but some where there has to be somebody else who hates daylight savings time!

I'm with you! (Note the time 5:23 am EST). I have enough trouble sleeping at night without this mess!

Because of the time change in the middle of the night, I am still up waiting for 5:00 AM. My DH has to work today and he forgot to change the alarm clock when he went to bed early last night. I didn't want to go in the bedroom and change it because I would have disturbed him. I didn't remember until 2:00 AM myself. I will try to sleep after he leaves for work. I'm often up all night anyway. I do love the early hour sunrise in the summer because we love to go fishing at dawn.

i know, too late now, but on the news last night they were talking about how daylight standard time effects us...and they said we should gradually adjust our bodies...starting a couple weeks ahead (the too late now part) and start going to bed about 15 minutes earlier than normal, then after a few days adjust another 15 minutes...gradually training our bodies until we are up to that hour in time for the (big-day)
makes sense to me...the newscasters should have told us 2 weeks ago instead of the night of...but
in my world it seems to distress the animals alot, these changes wish i could talk them into adjusting their bed times ;)

I despise the time changes as I feel it effects our biological clocks. Wish they would just stop doing it altogether!
