Such a beautiful family. Congratulations to them and all of the UK. I wonder if this will bring back a resurgence of smocking? So few even know what it is anymore and I hate to see the lovely craft die. Made several dresses for my DGD and of course her Christening gown. I'm hoping it will be passed down for generations to come. They grow up too fast however, sigh.

I really like the name(s). Happy she's going by Princess Charlotte. So many feel they have to live up to their namesakes. Although I among other's adored Princess Diana, I'm sure Diana is looking down very well pleased. Not sure where Charlotte comes from but still a lovely name. Hopefully, no one will choose a nickname like "Charlie or Lottie". Having been born under the astrological sign of a Taurus, I'm sure she will be one to be reckoned with. She will surprise all with her stance. Mark my words!!

Her name is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. Charlotte is the female version of Charles.

I agree with Jan, but I like to take it one step further. I think it is a good thing for parents to have at least one of each! I was blessed with 2 girls and my brother with 2 boys and he would not share (I wouldn't have, either!)

Will be waiting for a name too.
Carol, Thank you so much for thinking of me. I am delighted to share a birthday with Princess Charlotte.
