I currently have a nook. It is sitting on my dresser dead, will not turn on. I wrote the company three times in a week and did not get a reponse until I put a complaint on facebook. Their customer service is lacking, but I don't want to buy something new. I like the "green" aspect of it, as I am saving trees. If they will fix it, I will stay with it.

I love my Kindle; have had it over 3 years now! It is great for traveling and I carry it in my purse so I have it when I suddenly find myself waiting somewhere.

Just saw a presentation on their new Kindle Fire. I can't wait to see it "in person" and/or read more about it. It looks really interesting and has a great price!

I have the Kindle with wi fi and love it. They just started letting us check out books from the library so Im thrilled about that since I read a lot and now can get them for free.

I have the Kindle with 3G and love it! Have 34 books so far, I delete them after I read them but they are still in the Amazon library if I want to go back and download again. Majority of my books are free, a couple were $2.99. Wish I had it when I was working. I made a pocket out of crafting felt to carry it in.

QUESTION - I haven't checked out the local "library" aspect - How can or do I check that out? Is there web info on it?

Thank you for your help.

I bought a cover for mine. The front snaps closed. The kindle fits in the inside pocket and is comletely coverd except for all the buttons so you can use it without removing the cover. Does anyone know how to clean the screen.

Has anyone reviewed the new Kindle Fire? Think it came out today. It is more like an iPad, but without the camera and 3G downloads (wi-fi only). It is selling for $199.

Once our new public library is done, they will have access to downloading books onto our kindles; the reason why I bought my kindle after I talked to the lady there. She is excited about this new process.
