I think I'd grab my completed quilts, as there is no way to replace them.

scissors are on my list to take, but then I would need time to find them LOL. And yes if time permitted one of my machines.

    1. kids/hubby
    2. dogs
    3. important documents/pictures/jewelry (can be pawned for money)
    4. computer...then sewing machine/notions etc.

With the exception of my family and important documents everything else is fair game becasue push comes to shove that is why I pay an insurance premium every month.

Luckily we have a big truck and a cargo van, so we could literally load up a TON of stuff. But we would have to leave behind our vintage cars and our Mustang....hummmm....decisions, decisions!! LOL

So my question is, would you think of taking your sewing machine if you had to evacuate your home at a minutes notice? I admit it would not have been the first thing on my mind--but now it is!
If I had a minutes notice, probably not, but if I had enough time to think it through, I'd probably get at least one or two out with me. Pictures, a few clothes, our guns...oh yeah...DH and the dog.

I've always known that I would take my sewing machine right away. And my husband would probably take his fishing poles. But, we would be together.
