Perhaps she could wear the stick on patch so that she has the correct shape and have Granny's patch over it so that it is cute.

My eyes went crossed last year (bells Palsy) and I took a store bought patch and embroidered an eye on it I got the design from ann the grann and physicadellic. it was fun and matched my personallity to a tee.

What a caring grandmother. Is good she is taking the situation so well - did she inherit that trait from grandma?

Yes, I wondered if it was my own computer, but everything else checks out as fast as usual.

But as with the commercials here, I feel I can live with it, as I know very well without the ads we wouldn't have this free, marvelous way of getting to know other quilters all over the world.

When I was young had to wear the "pirate patch" full time!
Wish I had a Grandmother like you!
I also had exercise cards that I had to use.
One particular card had a dog on the left half and the dog house on the right half and I had to "put the dog into the doghouse by crossing my eyes! Worked for awhile.
Doctors didn't "clip" muscles back then.
Good to see that you are making it fun for her!

Wonder if sewing a chenille stick (pipe cleaner) around the edge so it could mold the patch to her face without pressure on the eye would work? Maybe make a "channel" for it so no fuzz or lint would get in the eye, also.
