Work was a zoo toady. Kids were all off the hook. Don't know why? I don't think there is a full moon. Also usual problems with the teacher. I had thought things were a little better since our talk. Not really. SHe is so terribly rude to me. Some of the comments are worthy of a lawsuit. Hope I can find a new job soon. All this stress isn't good for my health. I would love to quit but I can't as I carry the family health insurance.

I've had that happen a few times in the past. Try unsubscribing and then subscribe again. Good luck!

If I haven't checked online for a few days, I find I dont get te email notifications to any of the threads I am subscribed to on here. I don't know why they do it that way. I guess it is their way of keeping you coming back.

Wow, with some of the changes in my insulin regimen from Thursday, I am already seeing some change. Having crazy swings in BS ( blood sugars) numbers. If I hadn't woke up in a ball of sweat, I might have fallin even lower this morning. I seem to be going from the 300 range down to the 60's. man it is crazy, I so want better control of my BS..... talk about stress. it is nerve racking and worrisome especially since I live alone. Parents right next door but they usually dont come over here I go over there, I am gonna have to let mom know what happened so she can check on me if she doesnt hear from me or see me gone for work.

Guess I need to find the parts to fix my give a damn......LOL

I have been working on clearing out some of my UFO's. I found this small quilt that I had started, got the blocks together, it was from a quilt kit that some one gave me. As I got the blocks together, they are 14 inches square, but not enough to make a nice size lap quilt, to me just a bit narrow, they are measuring 28 x 56. I have no problem with the length, but I know if I add to the width, I should add to the length.

Here it is before I have added any boarders. I am thinking I want to add 7 inches between the row of 4 blocks.

Here is what I am thinking. I would love some input so I can complete this inbetween my time working on the T-shirt quilt. I need a break from that from time to time.

Thanks in advance

I think that would work fine, Cindy. I was thinking the same thing before I saw your solution. Maybe then a narrower border around the whole thing with one of those yummy colors you have there. The turquoise would be great.

I think black borders around each block too. I agree with Pam about a small border with one of the colors from the blocks, black stop border, color, wider black?

I'm in on the February Weight Lost Adventure...although we're on vacation in Port Aransas, Tx and it will be quite a challenge until I get home. The people we are visiting like to go out often and it's very hard to stay on track. My will power is challenged. I'll have to go to the Quilt Shop in Corpus Christi and purchase new fabric...you can't eat that, correct!
