Glad you did bleed on your quilt. Sorry about your accident. But it is only the first of many, a sewing room is an accident waiting to happen. Ask me how I know.

~~~~GASP~~~~ %^$#@*hope all is well! Heck with the needle being bent...that can be replaced! Yeow,,,,shuddering...more yeowling...ew...glad it didn't hit the bone or bleed on the quilting, i know you worked hard on it, was it the bird project? take care now.

See if you are up to date with tetnus shot and watch for signs of infection.

Wildyard, I seem to do this ever 20 years of sewing. At my age, maybe last week's accident will carry me till heaven. You should get a tetanus shot. I forgot, and sweated out the 8 days before symptoms appear, after looking at the gruesome pics of tetanus sufferers on the net. Tetanus was a horrible sickness, and fatal.

Be sure to watch it closely for infection. That is a big ouch!
