Terri, come to North Carolina! We are close to the mountains, close to the ocean, and we have 4 seasons, although sometimes if feels like they forgot Spring!

You can live in the country and still be close to Raleigh or Charlotte. Great place to find work, when DH grows up! LOL

We don't get much snow here and only about 1 month of bad weather, just right to settle in and quilt!

But, too far to drive to Illinois to see the horseys.

aww thanks Amma! I sure hope we get it. We will be showing Promise in solid color and she is practically undefeated in Solid Color Class. Gosh I would have a heart attack if I won both LOL. Cant hurt to try right??

Harley is just so amazing! wow he is a bruiser already. Went out and was petting him and he jumped on me then started mouthing me. Yep hes going to have to have manner classes sooner then any foal born here LOL

Heres Promise my only solid colored horse

OMG - what a beautiful horse. Please tell me that my namesake is also lovely. I don't think I've seen a picture of her.

oooOOOOOoooohhh!! Promise looks like she's made of lovely, soft grey flannel! No wonder she's won all the solid color classes Kay! Yep, I'm thinkin' you will be needin' that BIG pocketbook to carry all that prize money with those 4 you're taking with you. :D

Wouldn't it figure? I 'tuned in' to Patches & Harley & he was just laying flat out on the far side of mommy. Hopped up a couple times for a quick trip to the milk bar, then back to sleep, the rat!! I wanna see more buckin' & runnin'! And now I can't get the cam at all.... :(

It would be great if Susie & Sharonb could go to the show too! More pictures for us & they could be our surrogate huggers :D
