You can be as lost over a fur baby as a child. Had to put my best friend of 10 years down as she had cancer. I still think of her but in my heart she is with me always. Time heals. I am sorry for your loss Marvel

I know how you feel we had I cat of 17years a week before Christmas, thank God I have my other cats to help us throught it,it's funny when they notice somebody is missing in the family,I think that hurts the most.

Im so sorry . Last March I had to put down my Molly she was 17. I hurt for days after that, I kept seeing her face but she couldnt breath, she had a tumor. But it does get better , but it takes awhile.

This sounds crazy but when I died I would love to be able to sit down with my cats only at a round table (they all thought they were in charge) and ask why didn't you like her or him? Who made that mess? So I hope they can talk to me that would be fun! anamils first family later.

I am so sorry to hear that, I've had to put a few down in my life time, due to Illnesses. Its so Hard. They all are so special and precious.. I pray you find comfort somewhere and always remember we loved them enough not to allow them to suffer..

So, so sorry to hear of the loss of your baby. It's such a hard thing to make that decision, but you are such a good mom for doing what was right for your baby. Those of us who have had to do the same thing can feel your pain. (((((hugs)))))

Our doggy is reaching that same place, same problem kidney failure....we just can't do it yet. She has good days and not so good. So my heart aches for you. My husband says he will need grief counseling when she goes. 15 years of happiness.

I am so sorry. This is a painful decision to make. I hope the memories you have of your furbaby will give you warm thoughts soon. You were lucky to have each other.
I too am struggling, My Fritz at the age of 7 is diagnosed with cancer in his liver and pancreas. It is so hard to watch them go through this.
