I am so sorry to hear of your furbabys sickness. I've been through it with 3 of our kitties over the past few years and I still will get very sad thinking about them.

They provide so much love and comfort that non pet owners just simply can't understand our grief at their loss.

Wishing you happy memories to treasure and hugs until then.

okiepastor-what a beautiful poem.
I love it, though ALWAYS makes me cry--again! Last week was so hard, as we also lost Melanie after kidding. She seemed fine at the midnite check, but evidently somehow the kid put a foot through her uterus prior to birth, and she was gone in the morning. Then I lost a bitsy little 3 pounder premie kid who was doing really well for a week, then just found her dead in her bed one morning
Wish sometimes I was old enough or tough enough to NOT get so down when we lose one!

This is so sad, she will meet you at the rainbow bridge.
Hope you know that story, it has helped me out.

Thoughts and prayers go out to you in the loss of your 'family' member. Our fur babies are as much a part of the family as 'blood' relatives and often times more loveable!

I understand your sadness. Our vet sent me a poem called the "Rainbow Bridge" after I put down my fur baby. The poem says that when your time comes and you cross the Rainbow Bridge your fur baby will be happy and excited to see you.

I am so sorry about your furbaby... We are always sad to lose them, but when they are telling you it is time, I am glad that we can prevent prolonged suffering. That doesn't help make it hurt less though.
