fur babys

I know exactly how you feel- here's a tissue for all those tears! I bet they are just welled up all day.
Last Wed. I had to put my 12 1/2 yr. old pug to sleep. She had lost use of her leg from a disease that pugs get. I felt so bad, but the dr. said we could only buy 2 mos. with steroids.
The Vet sent me a card with The Rainbow Bridge on it. A poem written to ease our pain of losing our fur baby. You should read it.
It's difficult to think of them being gone, be gentle on yourself. I haven't put away Crouton's bed or her collar and leash. I did pick up her bowl after kicking around a few times but I won't thrwo anything away.

Helping them to the Rainbow Bridge is the last loving act we can do for them. Took me two years after my Polly, my first pet as an adult, went away to stop crying everytime someone mentioned saying goodbye to a beloved fur baby.
