watterstide,
I put mine off for YEARS. Finally decided to get one. They found 7 masses in my left breast. I had two biopsied, and was told that they were not cancerous. But, I still have to have mammograms twice a year until I get a good baseline.

You decide.

I'm in a world wide study on breast cancer so I have and have had a mamogram every year for years. The doctor told me that the older you get the more likely that you can get breast cancer.

I have mine scheduled for December. A friend was just diagnosed with breast cancer so I want to make sure I have mine. I call it "the big squeeze". Its not that bad and doesn't take long to be safe.

Had mine today also. I include it on the same day as my annual pap smear. I wonder what age they stop covering paps and mammograms.

Mammo found my lump going on 3 years. The biggest risk factor for breast cancer is being female and having breasts. the short amount of discomfort is worth it. Consider the alternatives.

I got mine a couple of months ago. Now for the colonoscopy- that is really not my favorite!

We have a free service every year. However, it hurts me so much that I get an ultrasound/doppler thing done every year instead.
