Kiwi ran about 8 races before she was retired and we rescued her. Her racing records show that she hit the rail on 2 of those races - she has a scar on both sides - but she is a love

What sweet dogs! Lovely collars too! Did you make them?

Always nice to live in Central FL - the Lightening Capital
- during the storms my bed never seems big enough

No, I didn't make them, but I purchase them from a greyhound rescue group. They are called martingale collars. (http://www.collargirl.com/how_martingale_work.htm) -

Because greyhound necks are bigger than their heads, they would slip out of regular collars. Because greys don't have the body fat that other dogs have (not a lot of loss skin), it is harder to grab on to something if they get off their leads outside.

And yes, I spoil my girls, my DIL has told be if she is reincarnated, she wants to come back as one of my dogs.

That's funny about the reincarnation... one of my co-workers told me he wanted to come back as one of my cats. :-) We must be doing something right!

I knew when I read your title that you were from FL. Love, love, love the pics! The 3rd one where everyone is sacked out is so funny.

We are in SE FL. Our girls don't like the storms but have gotten calmer through the years about them.

Beautiful dogs, so graceful & regal. Are they rescues? I have a neighbor who does rescues and I just love them, the people are nice also.

You might try Rescue Remedy for your girl who is afraid of storms. It worked for my Borzoi Larisa who was terrified of storms and also for my Jenny B who was a rescue Greyhound.

Beautiful dogs by the way. I miss mine so much.
