Bluechicken, you are the earliest starter for the another day here.
Today I started that in New zealand it is three hours ahead of us.

It's 8:02 here in the South, USA. Overcast and threats of storms for the weather. Good day to finish a quilt and do laundry.

No, you're not the only one going to bed, but we vampires sleep in the daytime!!! I'm getting ready to crawl into my coffin. Had a difficult patient last nite. Not physically difficult, but I will say this: I've never seen even a sick three year old whine that much!!!!

Boy, you sleep late.LOL I'm usually up by 5:00 at the latest. I'm going to be working outside and if I get done, work on my kimono quilt.

We have fire ants here, I mix a paste of meat tenderizer with papin in it. Slather it over the spot bitten and let it set and dry. If it doesn't ease up, I do it again. But it's best to do it as soon as you are bitten. My DH has a bad allergy to them.

I love this post, interesting to hear what's going on in other parts of the world. It's 1 pm here in Florida, sunny, hot and very humid but the clouds are forming. We got rain last night late. Have had sprinkles to downpours nearly every day for two weeks. It's a good thing as Florida had been very dry with extreme drought conditions in some parts of the state. Now some are getting too much........can't win.
