Someone posted a response lately that mentioned a way to Google without getting Pinterest hits. I didn't know you could and it sounded so simple I knew I'd remember...ha! Can somebody help me? Thx.

You type in your search criteria then add
-site:pintrest.com

please note that there is no space between the '-' and the site name 'pinterest' or it won't work

i just searched "scrappy quilts" and used the -siteinterest.com and it worked!! Thank You(tho i do also love pinterest very much it is nice to see the periphery sometimes!)

Please type it exactly as it should be entered for the google search.
I have tried some variations, but am still getting a Lot of pinterest hits
So obviously ............... it's not obvious!

I think it was Quiltn Nan who helped me. I wanted to search baby quilts so I googled like this:
baby quilts -pinterest
no space between minus sign and word 'pinterest'

I search in Google Images all of the time. Sometimes there are Pinterest links, but I seldom look at them.
