I have been laid off since NOV 08 with only a brief temp position for 10 weeks. I luckily was eligible for UE. No jobs to be had here for Fat Females, over Fifty... We have a lot of students working as interns for free for college credits. Also, the employers are setting up their own Temp companies as they can pay much lower wages with no benefits. Thanks everyone. I spoke with my husband and his best friend's wife works in a clinic and they are looking for 2 receptionists. Please keep me in your prayers and thoughts that they call me to set up an interview. In the meantime, I applied for Unemployment. If it takes a while to find something, at least that will help out..
