    Halloween Costumes

I finished my niece's Halloween costumes today. Of course they wanted to be Elsa and Anna from Frozen. I'm pleased with how they came out. I just used a general bodice pattern and my daughter the artist drew the artwork for the Anna dress and i traced it on to felt. Otherwise I designed (or copied rather) them myself.

put off till tomorrow what you can do today, and if you procrastinate long enough, you may never have to do it.

Those are wonderful. I have made many costumes for the grands and sometimes it takes a lot of improvising.

These are cute. It reminds me of the year my sister knocked herself out to make an Ariel costume for one of her girls.
She searched for just the right fabric and spent many hours stitching a beautiful costume, designed so that she could walk well in it. When it was all done and it was time to try it on, Allie burst into tears. She didn't want to be Ariel as fish she wanted to be Ariel as a princess. Then Mom was tempted to burst into tears!!
