Here it is! Thanks everyone! I did not make the curved neck. I joined the two sides together in the back at a 45 degree angle.

I was just asked to do this today for a graduation on Saturday!!! Yikes! So happy to have found this! Can I ask what measurements the stole you made is and did you do it with 4 separate pieces 2 for front sewn at 45 degree angle & 2 for back sewn at 45 degree angle. I can't find any true patterns online. please help!

Could you use a Boy Scout sash as a pattern? It just goes over one shoulder, across the chest and is stitched at the bottom at the hip.
