I have a pair of pants that I really love, however, there is a brown stain & have tried everything imaginable to make it disappear. Does anyone know how to get this brown stain disappear?

Do you have any idea, what made the stain? Different stains require different treatments.

When you say everything imaginable, i'm not sure what else to recommend. Have you tried the sprays like SHOUT? Depending on what caused the stain, there might be some hope of getting it out and there might not. Here's a link that might help.

my Dear Aunt swears by Shout. i'd gotten some tar like substance on my pants and it took it right out in the wash. i was amazed.

A friend of mine just suggested GoJo hand cleaner to get a grease stain out of my pants after they had already been washed and dried. She has had good luck with hubby's work clothes, so I plan to try it.

if all else fails, try taking the pants to a Cleaners.

You haven't said what the color the pants are, but sometimes lemon juice and sunshine works. I know it take out mildew on white shirts.

I have recently had good luck with dawn dish washing soap. I now have a bottle in the laundry room. For a really stubborn stain I made a paste with peroxide and baking soda and rubbed it on the stain. I think that recipe was somewhere on this board.

Soak completely for 5 - 6 hours in tub with Oxyclean powders.

Get some "Grandma's Secret Spot Remover". You can get it at Hancock Fabrics or online. It takes just a little bit and works wonders. One of the girls at work had another baby when her oldest was 10. She pulled out the baby clothes and noticed set in stains. She couldn't afford to get new things so she tried the Grandmas and it took everything out! Her husband is a chef in an Italian Resteraunt and it gets everything out of his uniforms.
