HGTV Sewing shows?
#63
We don't even watch HGTV anymore - too much of the same thing. I think they are trying to lure the younger generation with what they offer now. I really miss AA & Carol Duval. It is thanks to Carol that I can cut almost perfectly round circles!

  Me too! They do what they want, not what the people want. Some days it is impossible to get a recipe on Food TV. And I miss Alex, Carol Duval and all the sewing shows on HGTV. If I owned a bulldozer I might be interested in the shows they have now. Big disappointment!

Back when they cancelled all of these shows, a bunch of quilters sent e-mails voicing their concerns. I read their response somewhere and basically they said they were gearing themselves toward more "Do It Yourself" shows.

I used to enjoy the home decorating where most of us could actually get some ideas. Now you have to be spending thousands of $$ to redecorate or remodel like they do. What happened to inexpensive ideas like most of us could do without hiring contractors?
I did find a few quilting/sewing shows on PBS lately.
