Of 40 replies to this post, (I counted)....all turned a thumbs down except one person who says she watches it. Like the majority, my time is too valuable to waste on watching/listening to this bratty child who hasn't been reared properly...or who is allowed by her parents to follow the producers scripts...so tell me how it stays on the air???

HBB stays on the air because the ratings are high -- people are watching. My guilty secret, I watch Toddlers & Tiaras so had seen her, couldn't believe the mother doing her routines while she was on stage as most pageant moms do, and watched one episode of HBB because I couldn't imagine why anyone would put the whole family on tv. I agree with almost everything said on this thread but want to add two thoughts: I hope they put the $ they're getting to good use, especially an education for the child; they are crude etc. but you get the feeling they all really care for each other and they're a happy family. That can't be all bad.

I was wondering the same thing. Something is not right with her mother. That child is 7 years old and still wearing diapers.

It's like watching a train wreck. I try to avoid watching most reality shows. I do watch a few of them though, ones like Deadliest Catch, American Pickers, Pawn Stars, American Restoration.

Yep, they laugh all the way to the bank! $100,000 an episode in first season; Heard it was $150,000 for 2nd season per episode. Hope they save some of it and then take etiquette lessons with some of it!!
For better viewing, Law & Order, SVU marathon on TNT...all new episodes with new cast. Of course, I miss Elliott!!
