I don't spend a lot of time on this show...i admit to watching it at times...There are worse shows and i don't watch them at all. No one else has the nerve to admit to sneaking a peak at HBB. Don't hate me!

HBB stays on the air because the ratings are high -- people are watching. My guilty secret, I watch Toddlers & Tiaras so had seen her, couldn't believe the mother doing her routines while she was on stage as most pageant moms do, and watched one episode of HBB because I couldn't imagine why anyone would put the whole family on tv. I agree with almost everything said on this thread but want to add two thoughts: I hope they put the $ they're getting to good use, especially an education for the child; they are crude etc. but you get the feeling they all really care for each other and they're a happy family. That can't be all bad.

I was wondering the same thing. Something is not right with her mother. That child is 7 years old and still wearing diapers.

I watched about 10 minutes of this show once to see what is all about. I also watched a few minutes of that Kardashian show, Jersey Shore and Toddlers and Tiaras along with that Dance Moms....
It's like watching a train wreck. I try to avoid watching most reality shows. I do watch a few of them though, ones like Deadliest Catch, American Pickers, Pawn Stars, American Restoration.

For better viewing, Law & Order, SVU marathon on TNT...all new episodes with new cast. Of course, I miss Elliott!!
It's not that much........somewhere between 15,000 and 20,000 an episode.

We are now seeing the results of 3 generations of kids who were not taught respect for others or manners in dealing with others. This, as a retired teacher after 38 years, is a such a shame!

The closest I come to watching reality shows is the NEWS.
