We are a comfortable 62 this morning, to go up to 80 or so today. Then that storm coming across the states is to give us rain and in the 30's tonight. That's a big drop but I remember living in Northern states at the -10 and how the wind came right through the walls etc. Happy Thanksgiving from SE Alabama.

Looks like my son might be moving from Key West, FL to Seattle in the very near future for a job change. Sounds like he will have some adjusting to do .... although after 3 years, he is tired of FL weather.

Its 8 degrees this morning with a good breeze, so makes it feel lots colder. Good day to cook a turkey in the oven.

I remember being in England one winter when it was below freezing for 3 weeks straight. Trees broke and power lines went down from the weight of the ice. Now I have moved from warm! southern California to chilly New Mexico and woke up to snow this morning.
PS Love Canterbury. Hope to get back there someday.

I'm in No. Calif. and woke up to 28 outside at 6:30. Cold for us and early for this year. My DH just went out to get his newspapers and the plastic wrap was frozen.......Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

We got up to 73 this morning and went straight to the beach for early morning exercise and then coffee while we watched the sun beams dance on the water. Glorious! It's why we moved to the Gulf of Mexico. Panhandle Florida.

-15C=4F I think I did the conversion OK. And about a foot of snow!
We are ready for a white Christmas. Now if I could just stay inside and quilt life would be good.
