I just move to this little town. I was 15 years and walking around the block with a friend. I saw him working outside with no shirt on and told my friend you see that fine hunk that will be my hubbie one day.She laught at me.He was the only single guy in this town with about 6 girls so he was getting lots of attention. finely we met and the rest is history. This October we will be married 24 years and my heart still skips a beat every time he walks in a room

Went to an old time dance with my girlfriend. She ended up dating a guy that she met that night for about 3 weeks and she said "He is going to ask you out" I said no way you are going with him. She insisted. Two years later we were married.

We met online through Yahoo Personals
(I think it is now Match.com)

He posted a personals ad Sept. 12 2000
I saw it within minutes and replied, we
chatted on yahoo messenger for a long
while that even, and the next evening
he asked if I would like to meet in person
at a very public place.

So on Thursday evening we made arrangements
to meet at a Wendy's fairly close to where he
lived (across town from me). We sat there talking
until they ran us out so they could close, we
than spent the next 3 hours sitting in my car
talking neither one of us wanted to say good
night to the other.

We talked several times on Friday and he invited
me to come to his place to watch a movie and
for dinner. We watched The Green Mile and I
cooked cheesy mexican chicken for us. I never
went back to my own apartment again.

In fact until this year (June 2011) the longest
we had ever been apart was 3 days when I was
in the hospital (2 times) for neck surgery.

We got married September 12 2003, so we will
be celebrating our 11/8 anniversary this year.

Here is the funny part our story. My birthday is
6/12 and his is 12/12 we met 9/12 exactly 3
months between our birthdays.

To this day I still say it was fate!!

In college. My friend was going to have yearbook pictures taken with the group she belonged to. I was waiting for her so we could go to the library to study. The set up was in place with a row of chairs and a row of standees behind. They needed one more shortish person to fill in the chairs. I was available, joined the group and found the husband all at one. We were freshman then and married just at the end of senior year. Together for more than 27 years when he died.

Met mine online. A mutual friend asked me to chat with him, since he was new to the internet. We chatted for a couple of weeks, started talking on the phone, and then met in person. We've been together ever since, nearly 12 years together. He loves my kids, grands, and great grand, and they love him. Life is good!
