Friday afternoon, my friend and her son were caught in a flash-flood that washed their car away...both were okay, just soggy and sleepless. We spent Saturday trying and finally achieving pulling her Pilot out of the draw. They are moving to Michigan in a couple of weeks, so I spent Sunday getting prepped for their going-away party. The adrinalin rush from Friday's scare settled in my shoulder, so I was and am still stoked up on drugs! Better living through chemistry!

ladylinda so so sorry to hear about your fire!! Glad that no one was hurt and that the damage was minimal.
I spent Saturday enjoying the first annual alternative bluegrass/folk/acoustic Hootenanny at Kellish Hill Farm, my friends music venue where we are very active supporters and volunteers. The young people were fantastic as was the music and all were well behaved. The event lasted till midnight. So Sunday morning was spent resting. Sunday afternoon was our usual jam session, where I sang some of my newer songs, which were received well. Smiles. Sunday evening after our pot luck dinner, we were entertained by The Lindsey Family with their great gospel sound. The parents and 10 of the 11 children all perform to some extent. So I had a wonderful weekend of music, knowing my quilting was quietly waiting for me at home to help me recover from all the fun I was having. Smiles and hugs to all.

I spent my weekend - Doing laundry, a little housework, getting flowers ready to applique on two blocks and went to a wedding and reception on Sat. afternoon and night. My Hubby's Nephew, was nice to see some people there, would always just like to stay home, I still work all day.

LadyLinda and DianD I am happy to hear no lives were lost. What a horrible week end for both of you.
I spent my week end helping my DS and DIL move. Much more physical work than I am used to. Push Olivia in the stoller for miles in front of the house. We couldn't let her down so I tried to keep her happy.
