A few month old kitten won't leave me alone when I'm visiting the QB.

How do you type and pay attention to these little darlings? :-P :-P :-P

Carefully.

Or put her in another room and close the door.

Actually I'm sharing a blanket and he's happy and purring and sleeping and leaving me alone!

Mine curls up in my lap and I try to sit just far enough back that she can't stretch onto the keyboard.

At least that's better than my long, long haired white Persian, who prances around right in front of my keyboard and I have to keep blowing flying cat hairs from my keyboard. She acts so pitiful and reaches over to pat me on the face but usually winds up with her paw in my mouth...so off the pitiful Persian plops pronto past my pitiful defenses against a crying kitty.

When my girls visit me, they will sometimes lay down on the pull out shelf above my keyboard and take a little nap. Either that or will stand or sit right in front of the monitor!!!!  The older one, Gracie, will want to lay in my lap so I will hold her for a while and pet her. She will often drift off to sleep, but when I have to use one hand to type, she wakes up and trots off -- annoyed at me, of course!!!  Their jungle gym thingy is in the computer room so they will sometimes lay there or on a pillow in front of the heat vent. :-) Ya just gotta love them little furbabies!!!

My little kitty likes to sit in my lap and watch my fingers typing. So far she has not pounced on them.

My big cat lays across my chest while trying to type. I feel for you.

My two dogs get under my blouse (this will stretch out your clothes) and create a lap hammock. My cat sits next to the monitor eyes fixed. He loves videos and quick moving ads.
