Hi Barbara! I'm only minutes north of you! Poppy's Quilt N Sew is 1/4 mi. from my house! Woohoo!!! Hobby Lobby is about 5 miles, JoAnns is about 12 miles south in Round Rock, oh noooo, I'm surrounded!! EEEEEEEK!

10 minutes to JoAnns and Walmart. 2 LQSs about 20 minutes away.

two houses to the corner, then a block to Transit Rd....but owner rude and nasty so hate going there. I shop online.

Lucky, lucky you! I have to travel 30 miles to get to a Wal-Mart that still has fabric. If I want JoAnn's or Hancocks it's a 90 mile drive. I'm such a fabricholic though I can't wait for an excuse to take that long trip!

most of the ones I like are not that far away. It just depends on the fabric that I want.

granted - if it's linen or wool, those are on-line sources. does that count?

40 miles to another town for fabric.....two quilt stores there....75 miles to the next closest....

I'm at least 30 min., to any. We are getting a Joann's in town this summer. Whoo Hooo. It will still be about a 25 minute drive but a new store. I'm way out in the county. There is supposed to be a really neat LQS in a town about 1 1/2 hours from here. I can't wait until it quits icing up so I can go and visit.
